Why Perform

Build Stage

Confidence

Recitals teach students to manage nerves and perform under pressure - a life skill extending far beyond the stage.

Celebrate

Progress

A recital tranforms months of quiet dedication into a shared, celebrated achievement for students and family.

Inspire

Each Other

Peer performances create a culture of aspiration. Students leave motivated by what fellow musicians achieve.

Create

Lasting Memories

The first bow. The applause. The smile. These are moments students and their families treasure for a lifetime.

Time Changes Welcome

Adjust your time or date from the sign-up widget above. The earlier you commit, the more options you have

1. Registration:

Make sure you sign up before May 8th! We've got lots of students joining, and after that, it might be hard to find a spot for you. Plus, you want to make sure you

have plenty of time to practice before the big day. Sign up here to secure your spot!

2. Song Selection:

It's important to pick a song that's just right for you, and your teacher can

help you choose. Make sure your song is super fun and appropriate for everyone. That means no bad words, talking about grown-up stuff like drinking or drugs, or anything too mature.

3. Dress Code:

Dress to impress! Make sure you're dressed nicely for the recital. If you've got long hair, you may want to pin back at least one side so we can all see your face in the pictures

and videos.

4. Arrival:

Be sure to arrive 10 minutes before the recital starts. We've got lots of recitals

happening over three days, so it's super important to be right on time. Before the recital, mark your music with Post-it notes or paper clips so you can find your songs easily.

5. Etiquette:

Always be kind and polite! Listen carefully, follow your teacher's instructions, and cheer on your friends who are performing too.

6. Performance Guidelines:

Have a blast when you're performing! Walk out on stage with a big smile when it's your turn, and you can show your appreciation to the audience by smiling, nodding, or even giving a little bow.

7. Supporting Fellow Performers:

Let's cheer on our friends! Be sure to clap and encourage everyone who's performing. It's polite and helps make the event even more fun. And make sure to stick around for the whole show, about 45-60 minutes. Everyone deserves a full audience!

8. After the Performance:

Take a bow and smile when you're done performing. Then gather

your music and head offstage to join your family. Remember, people can only come in or out of the hall during applause, so let's keep it quiet and respectful during the performances.

9. Questions?

As always, the front desk is here to help! Please reach out if you have any

questions at [email protected]
